Here are some awesome ideas for your Candyland quinceanera:
You can have different areas in your venue based on the candy land areas! Plum Tree, Gingerbread Forest, Gumdrop Mountain, Licorice Castle, Lollipop Forest, Molasses Swamp, and Candy Castle! Remember the three main things: food, decorations, and entertainment!
Plum Tree: The entrance! Put something cool that looks like a plum tree, whether you get a real tree or use a cutout, like the one below. Hang purple spheres from the ceiling to outline the edge of this area!
Gingerbread Forest: You can have the court presentation in this area! Make it bigger than all the other areas. This area is for dancing. No food here! For decorations, hang sparkling brown curtains along the wall behind where the court comes out.
Gumdrop Mountain: If you are eating dinner at your venue, have it here. If not, put a buffet of snacks here. To incorporate the gumdrop part, put a bowl of gumdrops at each end of the table, and put a huge paper-mache one off to each side. (Get one of your friends to make them)
Licorice Castle: You can have the toast and changing-of-the-shoes over here! Have dark red wall hangings behind the table that you're sitting at.
Lollipop Forest: Have this be the hallway on the way to the restrooms. Just put some huge lollipop cutouts on the wall.
Molasses Swamp: Have this be the table/cooler where you keep the beverages. Cover the cooler with a brown glittery cloth duct-taped to stay on, and have most of the beverages be brown (iced tea, soda, coffee).
Candy Castle: This can be where the DJ booth is, so make it be near the Gingerbread Forest.
Have a great Candyland quinceanera themed party! I tried really hard to come up with cool ideas for you.
